Very often, when carrying out economic work on the plot, one has to dig several holes of different diameters. This task is quite time-consuming. For example, you need to install bollards for the fence or make a carport. In such cases, the use of a bayonet spade leads to a great investment of time and effort. It is much easier to use a unique tool - a hole.

It is not at all difficult to make a yamobur with your own hands, there will be quite a lot of benefit from it on the farm. Pits are different types. Depending on the size of emit: yamobur manual, motoyabur, yamobur on hydraulics. Depending on the direction of drilling, holes can be vertical and horizontal.
The main purpose of yamobura

- The tool is used for planting plants that have a core root system.

Yamobur includes two main elements: a working body and a vertical rack with a handle. The working body looks like a round pin, to the side of which is attached a metal strip in the form of a spiral. A sharp sharpened metal blade is attached to the lower end of the strip. If it becomes necessary to make a deep hole, the drill rack is extended with the help of additional inserts.
To work the drill more efficiently, the lower part should be sharpened and flattened in the form of a spearhead.

Tools and materials needed for making a hole

- Steel bar or pipe with a diameter of ½ inch and a length of 1-2 m (size depends on what depth of the pit you want to get).
- Sheet metal thickness of 1.5-2 mm.
- A piece of steel for the manufacture of a knife.
- Welding machine.
- A piece of rubber hoses for the handle.
First of all proceed to the manufacture of the working part of the hole. To do this, you must first determine what will be the outer diameter of the drill. After the size is chosen, take a sheet of metal and cut out of it a circle of a given size. In the center of the circle should make a hole that is equal in size to the diameter of the pin.

Next, you should stretch the resulting ring in height so that the blades of the auger are formed. If you need to create a tool designed for drilling deep holes, then you need to make several similar blanks. Welding seams need to be done with a certain step at which the connection between the rack and the auger will be sufficiently strong.
Next, proceed to the manufacture of a knife. In order for it to be sharp enough and have the ability to cut the roots of plants, it must be hard and durable. Spring steel is very suitable for manufacturing. Finding a piece of old spring steel is usually not difficult.
The size of the knife must match the size of the screw. The wide edge of the knife is sharpened to form a cutting edge. To increase the strength of the knife, it can be heated on the fire red hot, and then dipped in oil or cold water. Then the knife by welding is fixed to the lower edge of the screw.
Next, proceed to the manufacture of the tip. If a solid rod is applied to the stand, then a special hole is drilled at the end, into which a flat tip is inserted and welded. If a pipe is used, the hole should not be drilled (it already exists).

In the end make the handle. Its size should be such that it was convenient to hold it and twist the tool. To strengthen the design, the handle and the rack are connected with a welding machine with pipe sections. For ease of use of the tool at the end of the handle wear a piece of rubber hose of the desired diameter.
If the drill is strengthened, it will be possible to drill deep holes (up to 2-3 m). In this case, the drill is driven into rotation due to the cardan transmission associated with the motor. For this it is necessary to install a coupling between the drive device and the auger shaft. At the expense of the coupling, the tool is protected from possible damage and overload, and sometimes from an emergency stop of the system.

Care and use of the instrument
In order for Yamobur to serve for a long time, he must be cared for. After each use of the tool, it should be thoroughly cleaned of lumps of earth, carefully monitor whether the edges of the blades are damaged, and there are no burrs. If damage is detected, they should be immediately repaired and the damaged areas should be painted with anti-corrosion paint.
Before drilling, use the usual shovel to remove the upper part of the soil and slightly loosen the surface. This is done to facilitate the entry of the drill. After that, the tool is installed in the working position and rotated in a clockwise direction. In the process, from time to time the drill should be removed and cleaned from the ground. Work continues until a well of desired depth is formed. If necessary, extend the tool with an additional knee. When used properly, the tool will last for many years.
