There is another way that masters often use:

  1. It is necessary to completely unclench the internal cams of the cartridge.
  2. Inside you can see the screw with the left thread.
  3. Turn this screw clockwise.
  4. Tighten the hexagon in the chuck.
  5. Try turning it counterclockwise.
  6. If the cartridge is not removed, you can sharply hit the end of the hex key with a hammer.

If these methods do not help, the screwdriver will have to disassemble and remove the spindle together with the gearbox and the chuck. All this needs to be clamped in a vice and unscrew the cartridge with a pipe wrench. Sometimes on the cartridge there may be special undercuts under the wrench. They greatly simplify the task. But it happens very rarely.

The cartridge on the Morse taper is removed by a method of knocking it out with a hammer blow on the body. All these methods are applicable to any type of screwdrivers and electric drills.

It is better to warn in advance of situations with difficulties in removing the cartridge. To do this, do not overload the tool. Every 15 minutes of work, give him rest until the body temperature drops to the level of the ambient temperature.

  6. In case of prolonged downtime, the device should sometimes be switched on to partially discharge the batteries.
  7. Experienced craftsmen advise to have 2-3 batteries.

Moisture inside the tool can damage it. When adjusting, the shaft rotation speed and other parameters are set. This is done using special switches. Changing working nozzles (drills, bits), it is better to disconnect the battery. This will prevent accidental switching on of the tool.
