Therefore, depending on this indicator, the operating temperature range can seriously differ from each model individually.

Most often, the manufacturer refers to GOST, then in this case for foreign brands it is EN 60974-1, and for domestic brands it is GOST R IEC 60974-1-2004. This mark indicates the possibility of using the inverter at + 40 ° C and at -40 ° C. But immediately it is worthwhile to stipulate that such marking is not a guarantee that the equipment will start up freely at temperatures below -15 ° C. And all because the electronics do not like low temperatures, and when it starts, the overload signal most often burns.

If, nevertheless, the technique is loaded with work in the frost, then as a result of the heating, condensate forms, which settles on the insides of the inverter, which is destructive enough for them. Therefore, if the instructions do not clearly indicate that the selected model is intended for work at low temperatures, then it is better to refrain from operation.
